Uh-oh! The Ramey James duo is gonna be on the loose in Kentucky in June! Are any of you headed to the Knockout Book Bash in Lexington, Kentucky on June 13th??? If so, we are extremely excited to see you there. This is only Angie’s second book signing ever. The first one was in New Orleans last summer at Bouchercon. That was a big conference and the first time we’d gone, so we didn’t know quite what to expect. In hindsight, I think it was a good first test run as the signing wasn’t terribly busy as it was the last day of the con, and most readers were already loaded down with more books than they could handle. But Book Bash is different. It’s a one day, full-on signing extravaganza, and when Deanna went two years ago, it was nonstop fun meeting all the readers. It was one of her favorite book signings ever, so when the opportunity came to go again, she was all in, and she is dragging Angie along so that we can sign both Deanna Chase and Ramey James books. If you’ve been wondering about the team behind Ramey James, here’s your chance to meet us both in person.
If you are going, we have a preorder signup sheet where you can preorder your signed books. Trade paperbacks are available for $15 each, and you'll be invoiced via PayPal for your selection(s). The order form will be closed on April 12th, 2024, and invoices must be paid no later than April 15th to ensure delivery to us prior to the event. See order form here.
If you are near Lexington and did not manage to get a ticket to this already, you can check the website to see if they have tickets available here.
We can’t wait to meet you!
In other news:
Did you know or remember that Deanna used to write cozy mystery books with Violet Vaughn under the name of Lucy Quinn? When they closed their shared publishing business at the end of 2024, all of their books were unpublished. But recently they were able to republish all of those books, including the audiobooks. If you’re looking for them or are interested in trying a couple of other cozy mystery series, you can find them all listed here on Deanna’s website. Enjoy!
